This workshop will be held at the Realisation Festival. The Realisation Festival is a gathering for the soul. It takes place in the stunning surroundings of St Giles House in Dorset. The gathering uniquely brings together talks and workshops, music and other imaginative activities to broaden and explore the analysis and ideas. It is led by remarkable artists and improvisers, as well as world class speakers.
Oaks in the Parkland, A Workshop with Benedict Pollard
Benedict will lead an informal walk around the perimeter of the house and into the parkland, stopping en route to connect with some of the 100+ species of oak that he and Nick have planted here over the last decade and more. This mini-pilgrimage will be infused with a weaving together of storytelling, synchronicity, ecology, horticulture, spirit, mysticism and science. It will culminate in an immersive ceremonial planting of one of Benedict’s special oaks, hand-reared from an acorn gathered off one of the oldest oaks in Britain.
