Staffordshire

Staffordshire has some special old oaks. We visited the Oakedge Park oak to find an 11m+ girthed oak which it turns out also has a rarely known name the Anson Oak. We also visited a local farm nearby and found a previously-unmapped old tree, over 7m in girth, with a barn owl happily nesting in it!

More to follow.
