Kent is home to Lullingstone Park, which is now largely part of a golf course. Here we gathered acorns from a giant sessile oak of over 10.6m.

We also visited Majesty Oak in October 2025, but the many thousands of acorns were almost entirely colonised by Knopper Gall wasps.
